2022 was the first year of inclusion of female teams representing the age groups of Under 16's & 18's representing the Counties Manukau region wearing the Stingrays uniform. 

Prior to 2022, Counties Manukau Rugby League offered this age group development camps for the girls to participate in and continue developing their rugby league skills.
